1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the SkiinOBS software, official websites, account features, subscriptions, free trials, technical support, and other related services we provide.

OBS Studio, streaming platforms, payment services, and other third-party services are governed by the terms and privacy policies of their respective providers.

2. Information We Collect

(1) Account and authentication information

SMS verification codes are used for identity and login verification and are not retained longer than necessary for authentication.

2. Time the SMS verification code was sent and the verification result
3. Internal account identifier
4. Registration date, login dates, and login history

(2) Subscription and payment information

SkiinOBS is a paid monthly subscription service. New users receive a three-day free trial. Payment-related information is processed by us and/or payment providers designated by us as necessary to complete and manage transactions. Depending on the payment method, card numbers and other payment credentials may be handled directly by the payment provider.

(3) Information you provide voluntarily

2. Screenshots, videos, logs, settings, and other materials you submit for technical support

(4) Software and device information

We do not collect files stored on your PC, stream content, or the contents of other applications beyond what is necessary to provide the Services.

3. OBS Studio and SkiinOBS versions
4. Language and regional settings
5. IP address, device identifiers, or identifiers needed for authentication
6. Software launch times, usage status, and feature usage
7. Error information, crash logs, communications logs, and diagnostic data
8. Information needed to detect misuse or anomalous access

(5) Camera video and facial information

1. Camera video and facial landmarks are processed to provide skin enhancement, facial contour adjustment, facial feature controls, and other real-time visual effects.
2. As a general rule, this processing takes place locally on your PC.
3. Unless you take an explicit action or provide consent, we do not transmit to or store on our servers camera footage, stream footage, facial images, or other video containing your face.
4. Facial landmarks are not used for identity verification, personal identification, or biometric authentication.
5. Temporary facial landmark information used for real-time processing is not retained after SkiinOBS is closed.

(6) Website usage information

We use this information for service delivery, security, display preferences, and quality improvement. If we use tracking for advertising purposes in the future, we will disclose that use separately.

2. Display language, session information, and other settings stored in cookies, Local Storage, or similar technologies as needed to provide the Services

1. Providing, operating, maintaining, and authenticating the Services
2. Managing the three-day free trial, monthly subscriptions, billing, payments, cancellations, and refunds
3. Verifying software operation and investigating or correcting errors, crashes, and defects
4. Improving quality, performance, compatibility, and user experience
5. Developing new features, plugins, multistreaming, and related services
6. Responding to inquiries, setup questions, and one-to-one technical support requests
7. Sending important notices about maintenance, outages, pricing, terms, or policy changes
8. Preventing and investigating unauthorized access, misuse, account sharing, and violations of our terms
9. Preparing aggregated or de-identified statistics and analysis
10. Complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting our rights or the rights of others
11. Purposes reasonably related to the above

4. Third-Party Services and Platform Integrations

The Services may integrate with third-party services such as OBS Studio, live-streaming platforms, authentication services, payment providers, cloud infrastructure, and error-analysis tools.

If we provide integrations with platforms such as YouTube or Twitch, we may process authentication tokens, account identifiers, stream settings, and other information necessary for the integration, based on your action or consent and only to the extent required.

Information processed by third-party services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not disclose personal information to third parties except where required or permitted by law, with your consent, or as necessary for service providers acting on our behalf.

We may use service providers for SMS authentication, payments, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, customer support, diagnostics, and similar operational functions. We select service providers appropriately and require reasonable safeguards for information handled on our behalf.

6. International Processing

Information may be stored or processed outside your country if we or our service providers operate systems in other jurisdictions. Where required, we take reasonable measures designed to protect information in accordance with applicable law.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Contract, billing, payment, transaction, and other records that must be retained for legal or business purposes may generally be kept for five years.

Materials voluntarily provided for technical support may be retained for as long as needed to resolve issues, prevent recurrence, or maintain support records, and are deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably required.

8. Subscription Cancellation and Account or Data Deletion

You may stop future subscription charges by turning off automatic renewal. The cancellation method and access period are governed by the terms shown when you subscribe.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or all information we hold about you.

If you want your account or personal information deleted, contact us using the email address below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law, subject to information we must retain for legal, accounting, tax, payment-record, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, alteration, or misuse, including access controls, communication protections, and system monitoring where appropriate.

10. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or cessation of certain processing of your personal information, or to object to certain disclosures.

We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Children and Minors

If you are a minor, use the Services only with any consent from a parent or legal guardian that may be required under the laws of your country or region.
